Dam: BLISSBERRY HOLY SMOKES 8*M Sire: GCH (PEND) +*B BLISSBERRY MIC DROP
Flame earned her dry leg as an intermediate kid. She remained dry for 2022, and in 2023 kidded beautiful twin doelings (one has seen the show ring herself and has been very successful, going Grand in three rings) and started right off the bat milking her ears off. She has remained a steady and heavy producer for a first freshener. While she needs work to not be so naughty on the collar and being set up, she’s a beautiful doe when walking and standing freely, is naturally upstanding, and has a very wide rump. She’s starting to come out of her “awkward” young doe phase, which really showed true at WY State Fair where she was 1st in ring two and 2nd in ring one.
Her dam, Holy Smokes, was 14th place 4yr old at 2023 ADGA Nationals
Dam- Raising Arrows Daenerys Sire- *B Blissberry Never Have I Ever
I’m so excited for this girl! Coming from a strong dam line, she is really showing the type and correctness I’ve come to expect. She is well balanced, blends beautifully from neck to withers, one judge said she has the strongest chine she’s ever seen. Her 2023 show season has found her to be 1st in almost every milking yearling class she’s competed in. She just doesn’t have the maturity to compete in the lineup quite yet. She needs another year or two to really come into herself

Daenerys is my favorite keeper doeling for 2020. Her width and depth of brisket and chest is wonderful and she’s wide throughout. She’s upstanding and has lovely breed character while having very strong legs and feet. She has many of her dams wonderful characteristics, while bringing many other positive notes to the table. She freshened with a single doeling as a yearling first freshener with a really nice mammary. It’s wide and high in the rear with a nice medial and she has a nice smooth fore. Each freshening has shown more capacity and nice mammary development that should stand the test of time. Like her dam, she’s proving to be an outstanding producer as well.

"Peg", as we call her, is my favorite doe and herd queen. She’s the 2020 WY state fair Nubian Grand Champ, Best of Breed, and also took Best Udder In Show, earning her first leg. That show was her third show ever (and the one and only show we went to in 2020). She finished her permanent championship at the Cheyenne Memorial show and went on to compete in the Champion Challenge classes at 2023 Wyoming State fair. Not only did she win both rings, she also was Best Udder in both as well.
Peg has matured so nicely, and really took her time coming into her own. She was a late bloomer, and as an 8 year old, 8th freshening doe has held up and stood the test of time. Her mammary system is still extremely well attached and productive, and she’s still extremely strong on her legs and feet as an 8 yr old.
Progeny in herd: Raising Arrows Daenerys Raising Arrows Gin Fizz
I knew I wanted Zulily as soon as I saw her, and knew her genetics would play well into my herd goals. Sara told me she was big, but I didn’t realize how true that was until she jumped off the transport trailer…after a week on the road. She was still fat as a tick and acted like it was her job. She’s sweet as pie, has a beautiful mammary, and gave me a gorgeous keeper doe her first freshening here.
